Stress Epidemic

Nevermind swine flu, what with fear of job loss, excessive work loads, paying the mortgage, rowdy kids and no money for a holiday this year the country is in melt down. And we still don't know wether it willl rain all summer and who will be Prime Minister in the morning.
It's no wonder we're all a bit stressed. The HSE have an article that says research suggests that there is a strong relationship between musculo-skeletal problems, stuff like back pain, neck pain, headaches and the list goes on, and Stress. Well as an Alexander Teacher I could have told them that without any research. Tension builds up in an individual on a daily basis and gets worse and worse until finally they are in permanent pain. The good news is that it seems with just six Alexander Technique sessions people can shift this tension and having learnt various techniques themselves thay know how to look after themselves. But don't take my word for it. The British Medical Journal have published research suggesting the same. Check it out at my site.
